Officer Alfaro is a 5-year veteran who has served the citizens of North Hollywood Area since 1999. In addition to working the North Hollywood Area she was assigned to the Hollywood Area following her graduation from the Police Academy.

Police Officer III Jerry Theaker #16234 - Police Officer III Jerry Theaker has been selected as the North Hollywood Officer of the Month for April 2002.

Officer Theaker is a hard working and dedicated Officer who has been a member of the Los Angeles Police Department since August 10, 1970. Prior to his assignment to North Hollywood Area in 1991, he worked Newton Area and Foothill Area.

Throughout his tenure with this Department, he has received numerous commendations from citizens and supervisors for his outstanding performance, oftentimes under highly stressful circumstances.

Recently, he was transferred from the Auto Theft Table assignment in Detectives to patrol where added resources are required. He has accepted his reassignment to patrol in a highly positive fashion.

His easy-going personality coupled with his strong desire to work hard has made him a sought after partner and a pleasure to supervise.

He is a peer group leader who sets a high standard of excellence and can always be counted on to assist his fellow officers both in tactical situations and during complex follow-up investigations.

In his current capacity as a Training Officer, he is responsible for the continued law enforcement education of recent police academy graduates. He is a firm yet fair Training Officer who properly documents the performance of his trainees.
