"Female Victim Sexually Assaulted"

North Hollywood – On Thursday, May 4, 2000 at approximately 10:15 AM, a 21 year-old female was abducted from the sidewalk in the 10600 block of Erwin Street. An unidentified suspect forced the victim into nearby bushes where she was sexually assaulted. The victim was treated and released from an area hospital.

On Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at approximately 7:15 PM, a lone suspect followed a 27 year-old female jogger in the area between Riverton Avenue, Cahuenga Boulevard, Oxnard Street and Erwin Street. The jogger was subsequently pulled into bushes but ultimately escaped the suspect.

The suspect was described as a male, African-American, 5’8" to 5’11", between 17 to 25 years of age. There is no composite sketch of the suspect at this time.
