Suspects Caught on Video at Local Store Following Burglary

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Burglary Detectives are asking for the public’s help to provide any information that would lead to the identification of brazen suspects that entered and burglarized a home as the residents were sleeping.

On May 21, 2012 at 4:00 a.m., North Hollywood Patrol Officers responded to a call of a hot- prowl burglary at a residence in the 12100 block of Laurel Terrace Drive in Studio City.  Two suspects entered the residence and obtained a kitchen knife as they moved about the residence.  The suspects were in the process of removing items from a bedroom of one of the children when the child awoke and observed the suspects removing property.  The suspects then entered the master bedroom and turned on a light which woke another family member which caused the suspects to flee the residence and enter a white vehicle that was waiting in the driveway.

Following the burglary, detectives’ investigation determined that the suspects obtained a credit card that was later used at a convenience store located in West Valley Area.  Surveillance video from the store depicts the two burglary suspects that were seen inside the residence by the victims and a third unidentified female that accompanied the two male suspects.
