Investigators Seeking Additional Victims of Kidnap/ Sexual Assault NR17198ti

North Hollywood: The Los Angeles Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division, Special Assault Section, is investigating a Kidnap/Sexual Assault of a 24-year-old female.

During the early morning hours of June 23, 2017, a female entered an UBER vehicle in the Downtown area of Los Angeles, and requested a destination in the Hollywood Area. The victim was unconscious, when the suspect drove her to a motel in the San Fernando Valley and sexually assaulted her.

On June 23, 2017, around 9:15 p.m., Detectives arrested 46-year-old Alaric Spence of North Hollywood, for kidnapping to commit a sex crime. A search warrant was served at Spence’s residence, and evidence was collected. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s Office on June 26, 2017. Spence is being held on $1,000,000 bail.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims of other unreported incidents and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating them.
