10-day-old Baby and Her Mother Die After a Man Drives His Truck into Their Home NA10288SF

WHY:       
On October 31, 2010, a 22-year old man drove his Cadillac Escalade into the home of his 19-year old girlfriend, where she lived with their 10-day-old child.  As a result of the collision, the baby was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, but later died of her injuries. The suspect’s girlfriend and mother of the child was pronounced dead at the scene by personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Later this afternoon, detectives handling the case will discuss the progress of the investigation.
