On October 31, 2010, at about 2 p.m., Aaron Shannon was excitedly preparing to go Trick-or-Treating later in the evening, and had already donned on his Spiderman costume. While standing in the rear yard of his residence in the 1000 block of East 84th Street with his grandfather and uncle, one of two suspects walking down the alley fired multiple rounds into the yard injuring all three. Sadly, days later, Aaron died from his injuries. His short life will be honored and mourned during services planned this week.
