WHY:
To facilitate an open dialogue with members of the LGBTQ community and the LAPD.  Also, to create an opportunity for community members to meet with the LAPD command staff to discuss topics of concern.  Continued efforts made by the LAPD to strengthen partnerships with the LGBTQ community will be discussed including updates regarding LGBT related crimes in the City of Los Angeles.
