White Masked Bandit Robberies NR17345ne

UPDATE

On December 5, 2017, around 12:00 p.m., Northeast Detectives and Northeast Specialized Units took the suspect into custody at the East Los Angeles Probation Office. The suspect was identified by detectives after weeks of intensive investigation. The suspect was booked at MDC jail.

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Area are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an armed robbery suspect.

The suspect enters a business and demands cash from the register. The suspect takes the money and runs away from the location. The suspect possibly leaves the area in a silver Nissan Sentra or similar vehicle. The suspect has committed six armed robberies since November 7th at various commercial businesses in the Eagle Rock and Highland Park areas.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic in his late twenties or early thirties, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and gloves in all of the crimes. The suspect is wearing white tennis shoes with blue laces, possibly Nike Air Max.

In every robbery, the suspect is wearing a white paper mask. The mask is described as those used for cosmetic facials. The mask was form fitting with holes for the eyes, mouth, and nose.

The suspect uses a small blue steel revolver that resembles a “Starter Pistol.”
