Drive-By Shooting Leaves 1 Dead NR16311im

Wilmington: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the drive-by shooting death of 45-year-old Elias Adame Jr.

On October 5, 2016 around 12:30 a.m., Elias Adame Jr. was visiting a friend in the 1100 block of Young Street in the city of Wilmington. Mr. Adame was standing outside when a vehicle with unknown suspect(s) drove by and fired multiple rounds in Mr. Adame’s direction, striking him and causing him to fall to the ground.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported Mr. Adame to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Detectives have no leads on the vehicle description or suspect(s) and are asking for the public’s help.
