Shooting Leaves One Dead NR17320im

Van Nuys: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect’s responsible for the death of a man in his twenties.

On October 28, 2017 around 1:00 a.m., Van Nuys Area patrol officers responded to a call of shots fired on the 15400 block of Valerio Street. When officers arrived, they found a male suffering from gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed that the victim was speaking with the suspect’s when one suspect produced a handgun, shot the victim and both suspects fled the scene on foot. The victim was struck by gunfire and was pronounced dead at scene.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
