Rememberance
Officer Christensen had arrested a sex offender at 1524 Ingraham, but did not handcuff the suspect. As Officer Christensen put the suspect into his vehicle the suspect began to fight with the Ofcr. During the fight the suspect was able to gain control of the Ofcr’s gun and shoot him with it. The suspect fled to the area of 99th st and Grape St. 77th Ofcrs located him there and the suspect was killed in the ensuing gun fight. Officer Christensen did not survive his injuries.
