Man Missing from Care Facility NR11193rf

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department and family members of a man who has been missing from a care facility for several days are hoping tips from the public will provide assistance in the search to find him.

Since about 6 p.m. on April 23, no one has seen or heard from 64-year-old Herbert Graves. He was staying at a care facility near the 2000 block of West 8th Avenue and has never been missing from the facility before.  

Graves is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes.  He stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds.  He also has a medical condition and may be in need of medication.

LAPD Missing Persons Unit (MPU) detectives ask that if anyone has seen Graves or has information on his location, they should call MPU Detective Merrill at (213 996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls may be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
