Suspect Wanted for Murder after Shooting Girlfriend NR16132rmh

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Rampart Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect who killed 32-year-old Lauren Olguin.

On April 12, 2016, around 6:00 a.m., Rampart Area patrol officers responded to 500 block of N. Virgil Avenue in the City of Los Angeles for a victim of a gunshot wound. Officers found Ms. Olguin suffering from a gunshot wound.

The investigation revealed that Ms. Olguin was involved in an argument with her live in boyfriend, Philip Policarpio. During the argument the suspect punched the victim as he held a gun in his other hand. The suspect then shot the victim and left the location, possibly in a vehicle.

The Paramedics responded but the victim had succumbed to her injuries and passed away at scene.

The suspect is described as male Filipino. He stands around 5’8″ and weighs around 180 pounds. Philip has a tattoo on his chest of “Only God Can Judge Me”. He is also known to wear glasses. The suspect drives a BMW, 325i, 4-dr, Red, Vehicle License No. 7NBY245. The weapon used is an unknown type revolver. Suspect Policarpio is considered Armed and Dangerous.
