Unidentified Murder Victim Discovered Near Off-Ramp

What: Press Conference Requesting the Public’s Help in Identifying a Murder Victim
When: Tuesday, September 2, 2003, at 3:30 p.m.
Where: Northeast Area Police Station located at 3353 San Fernando Boulevard Los Angeles
Los Angeles: Northeast Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a male Hispanic, 18-25 years of age.
On Monday, September 1, 2003, at about 3:30 a.m., Northeast Area officers responded to a radio call of a death investigation at the 110 freeway off -ramp to Bridewell Street. When the officers arrived, they met with Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics, who had pronounced the victim dead as a result of his wounds.
The identity of the victim has not yet been determined.
The motive for the shooting and the suspect(s) identity are unknown at this time.
