$25,000.00 Reward Offered For Murder Suspect

WHERE: Harbor City Recreation Center 24901 Frampton Avenue Harbor City

Los Angeles: Harbor Area Homicide Detectives will conduct a press conference to request the public’s assistance in locating the murder suspect who is responsible for the death of Mr. Willie Ford. The City of Los Angeles is offering a $25,000.00 reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Harbor Area Homicide Detectives, Mr. Ford’s mother and additional family members will be in attendance during the press conference. Mr. Ford was employed as a counselor for the Harbor City Recreation Center and he was only 20 years old when his life was cut short.

On June 30, 2003, at about 9:30 p.m., Mr. Ford left his place of employment. He was seen driving away from the parking lot with another person in a dark colored vehicle.

About 10 minutes later, Mr. Ford was found shot to death and lying on the sidewalk in the 26000 block of Frampton Avenue in Harbor City.
