The car involved in the hit and run is described as a rugged off-road type dark grey or silver 4-door Jeep Wrangler.

Los Angeles: LAPD West Traffic detectives are requesting the publics’ help in identifying the suspect responsible for the hit and run death of a 33-year-old man.

On September 5, 2013, around 10:25 p.m., a hit and run fatal traffic collision occurred on Doheny Drive north of 3rd Street.  A dark gray or green Jeep Wrangler was driving northbound Doheny Drive and struck a 33-year-old man, who was crossing Doheny Drive outside a marked crosswalk. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop, render aid, identify himself or herself.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the scene and provided immediate medical attention to the pedestrian.  The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.   The victim’s name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
