Los Angeles: A Hit and Run
Fatal Traffic Collision occurred on Burbank Boulevard at Bonner
Avenue.

On Tuesday September 27, 2016, around 3:30 a.m., a Vehicle vs.
Pedestrian in a wheel chair, hit and run traffic collision occurred
in North Hollywood. A 72-year-old, female resident of North
Hollywood was crossing Burbank Boulevard northbound in her wheel
chair when a white 2010-2013, Ford Transit Van traveling eastbound
on Burbank Boulevard, collided with the left side of the wheel
chair and the female.

The female was seriously injured as a result of the collision and
was transported to a local hospital by the Los Angeles Fire
Department. The female died as a result of her injuries.


The hit and run driver and vehicle remain outstanding.

Notification to next of kin is pending.
