WHY:DPS has partnered
with A Chance for Children and the Water Buffalo Club to establish
a Little Free Library inside the lobby of the University Gardens
Housing Complex. This library will function as an educational
resource for the over 100 school-aged children living in the
complex. The Library will promote literacy and the love of
books.

In its most basic form, A Little Free Library is a themed bookcase
full of children’s books. Any child may stop by and pick up a book
or bring a book to share. The University Gardens Building Little
Free Library will be registered in a national registry where
community members can locate the library online. All books are free
for children of all ages.

The books will be re-stocked through generous donations.
