WHY:
To announce a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest,
prosecution and conviction of a suspect wanted for leaving the
scene of a Hit & Run that fatally injured
a 58-year-old man.


On March 10, 2015, around 9:00 pm., a 58-year-old man was crossing
the street northbound on 23rd Street and Portland Street within a
marked crosswalk. The suspect, seen driving a black unknown type
sedan, drove westbound 23rd Street at Portland. The suspect
collided with the pedestrian and continued westbound on 23rd Street
failing to render aid to the victim.
