The Los Angeles Police Foundation creates partnerships to provide resources and programs that help the police to serve at their highest level and to enhance LAPD-community relations.
Formed in 1998, the Foundation provides funding for Police Department programs and equipment not included in the City budget. This makes an important contribution to the effectiveness of the Department. The Police Foundation is dedicated to preventing crime, saving lives and making our community a better and safer place.
Your tax-deductible contribution to the Los Angeles Police Foundation affiliates you with one of the finest law enforcement agencies in the world. Being a member of the Foundation will bring timely information about public safety and the LAPD to keep you informed and involved.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Join the Foundation as a member
- Make a donation to honor or memorialize a friend, relative or colleague
- Contribute to the Lori Gonzalez Scholarship Fund for students entering the field of law enforcement
- Support events such as the True Blue gala at Paramount Studios
