Detectives Ask for Help in Solving Van Nuys Double Homicide Effort Includes a $25,000 Reward

What: A press conference to seek public assistance and announce a $25,000 reward in
connection with solving the double homicide of two young men

When: July 25, 2008
9 a.m.

Where: Corner of Hazeltine Avenue and Gault Street
Van Nuys, CA 91405
(Parking on Gault Street west of Hazeltine Avenue)

Who: City of Los Angeles Councilmember Wendy Greuel, District 2
Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Capt. III James Miller, Van Nuys Division
Family Members of Victims
LAPD Homicide Detectives

Why: The cold-blooded murders of Kevin Deville and Saul Garcia, both 21 years old,
occurred on December 5, 2007, and have remained unsolved. LAPD homicide detectives, Councilmember Greuel and relatives of the deceased are asking for the public’s help in finding the person(s) responsible for this senseless crime. It is hoped that the $25,000 reward will be an added incentive for anyone with information about the case to come forward.
