A Pedestrian Injured While Crossing the Street

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver and the car involved in a hit and run collision, in which a pedestrian was struck last night.    

On April 17, 2010, at around 8:25 p.m., a male Hispanic in his 30’s was crossing the street northbound on Victory Boulevard, at the same time a car was travelling eastbound on Victory Boulevard, at the intersection of Willis Avenue.  The car struck the man and the driver left the scene failing to stop to render aid and exchange information as required by law.  

The man in his 30’s was transported to a local hospital with severe injuries and he is listed in serious condition.  There is no further description on the driver or the car.
