Van Nuys Fatal Four Traffic Collision NR10242rh

Los Angeles:  On May 6, 2010, around 12:05 a.m., a fatal traffic incident occurred in the Van Nuys area when a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard just past Balboa Boulevard. The driver lost control of the vehicle, ran off the roadway and collided with a metal guard rail.  The vehicle came to rest at about 400 yards past the initial point of impact.  

Three of the occupants were ejected from the vehicle, but the driver was restrained by a seat belt and was not ejected.  All four occupants sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, 24-year-old Sylmar resident Jorge Nunez, 24-year-old Pacoima resident Jossue Collato, 22-year-old Burbank resident Kristin Norris, 22-year-old Carlsbad resident Danielle Wolf.
