Sexual Attack Occurs on College Campus

Warner Center – On Saturday, January 20, 2001, at approximately 12:45 p.m., West Valley Uniformed Patrol Officers responded to Pierce Community College located at 6201 Winnetka Avenue on a sexual assault investigation.
Upon their arrival, they contacted the victim at the campus police office. The victim advised the officers that she was in one of the women’s restrooms on campus, when she was confronted by the suspect who was lying in wait inside one of the bathroom stalls. The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim at gunpoint and fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, in his early 20’s, 5′ 9" to 5′ 10" in height, medium built, wearing a white T-shirt, Kakhi pants and white tennis shoes.
The identity of the victim is being withheld at her request.
