Burger King Announces Grand Opening with Proceeds Donated to Los Angeles Police

Larry and Ralph Cimmarusti, owners of several Burger King and Tony Roma Restaurants will hold the Grand Opening of two Burger King restaurants on Thursday, June 17, 1999. Proceeds from the grand opening will be donated to the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation.

The Cimmarusti’s have been very supportive of the Department and the Memorial Foundation. When Officer Filbert Cuesta Jr. was shot and killed, the Cimmarusti’s donated the proceeds from the Grand Opening of their Burger King restaurant at Sunset Boulevard and Kenmore Avenue to the Cuesta family. This donation was $20,000.
