Los Angeles: The Wilshire Operations Support Division is investigating a residential robbery at the 500 block of Rossmore Avenue, which occurred on November 2, 2002 at approximately 4:30 a.m.
On the above date at approximately 8:40 a.m., Wilshire Area Patrol officers responded to a radio call to "Meet the Fire Department." Upon arrival, the officers determined a robbery had occurred in the early morning hours. One suspect, an acquaintance of the victim, was inside the location when the second suspect arrived. The first suspect admitted the second suspect into the location. Both suspects then robbed the victim. During the robbery, the victim was viciously beaten. Fire Department personnel responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim is listed in serious condition.
The suspects were described only as two male Hispanics. No further description is available.
