Identified Burglary Suspect Caught on Video Wanted NR19139ti

Department’s Wilshire Area detectives are seeking the public’s
assistance in locating a Burglary suspect.

On April 28, 2019, around 3:00 p.m., a burglary occurred at a home
located near the 100 block of North La Jolla Street. The suspect
cut a hole in the backyard screen door and unlocked the door from
inside. Suspect entered the garage, searched multiple shelves and
fled when the victim confronted him via the security camera
speaker.

On May 17, 2019, around 1:00 a.m., a burglary occurred at an
apartment complex near the 100 block of North Swall Drive. The
suspect entered the front lobby with a key, took the victim’s
bicycle from the secured garage structure and fled via the front
door.

The suspect has been identified as Herbert Ray Heaton. He is a 34
years old male White with blond hair and blue eyes. He stands 5
feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds.
