$50,000 Reward Offered – Death of Celerino Reyes

News Conference to announce a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in the death of Celerino Reyes.

Why:
On Friday, June 8, 2007, at 5:55 p.m., local businessman, Celerino Reyes, had just left a nearby bank. A suspect followed Mr. Reyes intending to rob him, approaching his vehicle as Mr. Reyes stopped for a stop sign.

The suspect shot Mr. Reyes in the head and attempted to remove property from inside the car, but was unsuccessful. As witnesses came to the aid of the victim, the suspect left the scene in a vehicle.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help in solving this case. The reward is being offered for information leading to the successful arrest and prosecution of the suspect.
