Shooting Leaves One Dead

Los Angeles: On April 9, 2004, at about 10:00 p.m., patrol officers from 77th Street Division responded to a radio call of shots fired in the 400 block of East 79th Street in Los Angeles.
When the officers arrived they found 28 year-old Alberto Rodriguez Arroyo lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Martin Luther King Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The initial investigation revealed that the victim was walking when he was approached by an unknown suspect(s). The suspect(s) fired a single gunshot striking the victim. The suspect(s) left the scene.
The suspect(s) has not been identified and is still at large. The motive for this crime is still unknown.
