$75,000 Reward Offered in Connection With Double Murder Husband and Wife NR11107cn

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect(s) responsible for gunning down a husband and wife.
                                                                                                 
On August 4, 2010, at around 3:30 a.m, 77th Division officers responded to an ambulance radio call for a shooting at Slauson Ave. and Figueroa St.  When they arrived, they saw two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.  Both victims were taken to an area hospital where they died from their injuries.

The investigation revealed that 51-year-old Sulema Wilborn and 49-year-old Jerriel Wilborn, husband and wife, were driving in their vehicle west on Slauson Ave. approaching Main Street when an unknown suspect(s) fired multiple rounds into their vehicle, striking both victims.  The victims attempting to flee from the shooting, ran into a telephone pole on Figueroa St.

On March 8, 2011, the Los Angeles City Council approved a $75,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in this investigation.
