77th Area: On July 3, 2020, around 12:00 p.m., 77th Area patrol officers responded to a “Shooting Just Occurred” radio call at 53rd Street and Vermont Avenue. Officers located a male Black victim, inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There is no suspect information. This incident is believed to be gang related.
