"Unsuspecting Woman Assaulted in Her Own Home"
Los Angeles – On Friday, September 29, at 2:30 p.m., Wilshire Area police officers received a radio call of a "Robbery in Progress" at a residence located on the 3800 block of 7th Street. At the location, officers met a 28-year-old female Korean who stated that she was sexually assaulted while home alone at approximately 10:30 a.m. that same morning. The victim stated that a male Hispanic came to her door posing as a water deliveryman and when she opened the door to see what he wanted, the suspect forced his way into the residence. A second male Hispanic suspect then followed him into her home. The two male Hispanic suspects sexually assaulted her, took property from her and her residence and bound her before fleeing the location in an unknown direction. The two suspects are described as: Suspect 1: male, Hispanic, shaved head, brown eyes, 5’6" to 5’7", 140 pounds, 23-24 years-old; and, Suspect 2: male, Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, 5’8" to 5’9", 140 pounds, 25-27 years-old.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where she received medical treatment for sexual assault and was later released.
