"Elementary School Vandalized"

San Pedro – On October 8, 2000, at approximately 6:15 a.m., Los Angeles Police Officers responded to the Cabrillo Elementary School located at 732 South Cabrillo Avenue. The officers discovered that the school had been severely vandalized. During the preliminary investigation, officers also discovered that the suspects had written racial slurs on various surfaces within the building. This crime is being investigated as a hate-crime.
