"44 Year Old Male Is Shot And Killed For Unknown Reason"

Los Angeles: On Wednesday afternoon, November 22, 2000, at approximately 12:35 pm, the victim was confronted in front of 7106 South Western Avenue, and shot one time by unidentified suspect(s). The person(s) responsible were last seen leaving eastbound on foot from the location.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital where he failed to respond to treatment and was pronounced dead at 3:22 pm.

The motive and type of weapon are unknown at this time. The deceased has been identified as Paul David Mitchell, a 44 year old resident of Los Angeles.
