Los Angeles: Los Angeles police are seeking the public’s help in locating a driver who ran over a man Sunday morning, killing him.
On Sunday, September 3, 2006, around 5:30 a.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred on Adams Boulevard east of Montclair Street. The collision took place when the victim, a male Hispanic, was driving a 1994 Chevrolet pick-up truck on Adams Boulevard. The truck ran off the road at Montclair Street and overturned.
The driver exited the truck and was walking north across Adams Boulevard when an older model compact, possibly a Toyota or Honda, struck him.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.
The suspect fled the scene without stopping or rendering aid.
