**CARE ALERT CANCELLED-Child located in Palmdale in good condition**
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a young girl believed to have been abducted by her mother’s killer.
On September 12, at around 1:10 p.m., Southwest Division Officers were called to a residence in the 2800 block of West 42nd Street to investigate a possible murder. When they arrived they found the victim lying in the bathroom suffering from multiple stab wounds. Los Angeles City Fire Personnel responded and pronounced her death at scene. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The suspect is believed to be the victim’s boyfriend, Damiean Johnson, 27, a Black man with black hair, brown eyes, 6’02", and approximately 170 lbs.
Detectives believe that Johnson may have kidnapped the victim’s 5-year-old daughter after slaying the victim. The victim’s daughter is Kenyon Elaine Anderson, a female Black, with a medium complexion, black hair, brown eyes, is about 3’00" tall, and weighs around 50 lbs. Johnson is not Kenyon’s biological father.
Detectives also think that Johnson left the location driving the victim’s white, 2003 Mercury Mountaineer, 4 door, license plate number, 5YPE717.
Detectives are hoping that anyone who has seen this vehicle, Johnson, or Kenyon will call 911 immediately. They are urged to contact Detective Stanley Evans at 213-485-2582. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at 1-877-LAWFULL (529-3855).
