Los Angeles: Los Angeles police authorities are looking for a man who walked into a Koreatown watch store on December 1, 2007, and stole two Rolex watches.
The incident happen in mid-afternoon when a man dressed in a tuxedo, walked into the Saint Cross watch store located at 928 South Western Avenue, posing as a customer. The man told the store clerk that he was interested in buying an engagement gift for his girlfriend. After the man spotted a couple of Rolex watches in the display case, he asked to look at them.
Police say while the man was examining the watches, he ran out of the front door of the store and took off in an unknown direction.
The man got away with two champagne color, Rolex watches with diamond bezels. According to investigators, both watches are valued at $60,200.00.
No weapons were seen and no force was used.
Although customers were present at the time of the incident, no one was injured police said.
Police described the suspect as Black, 25 years of age, shaved head, 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing eyeglasses, a black tuxedo and black sneakers.
