What: 13th Annual “A Better Christmas” charity drive

9:00 a.m. – officer arrive to interact with children
9:45 a.m. – motorcade arrives
9:55 a.m. – Santa and his helpers pass out gifts and participate in holiday cheer
11:45 a.m. – motorcade departs

Why: This is the 13th year, a procession of CHP motorcycles, two USSS Presidential
Limousines and an LAPD truck hauling a large load of toys, will be heading
to the 10th Street Elementary School to deliver donated gifts to under-privileged
children.
After the motorcade arrive, officers will unload the gifts and Mr. and Mrs. Santa
Claus and their helping elves will pass them out to over 900 boys and
girls.
“We are giving back to the community. With an uncertain economy, we are happy
to assist families who might otherwise be unable to have gifts this holiday season,”
