Los Angeles: A Los Angeles man was shot and killed early yesterday morning while seated in his car.
On August 18, 2009, at around 2:05 a.m., 49-year-old Thaddeus Risher was sitting in his parked car in the 100 block of East 82nd Place. Witnesses reported that three suspects walked up to the vehicle and fired multiple shots inside, striking the victim numerous times. Risher was then transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The precise motive for the killing is unknown, although it may be gang related.
