Robbery, Leaves Man Dead NR09416ne

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is asking for the public’s help in identifying the persons responsible for the shooting death of 35 year-old Ching Tseng.  
 
On August 22, 2009, at around 6 a.m., Tseng was in the 3300 block of West 6th Street when he was approached by a male Hispanic approximately 25 years of age.  The Suspect demanded Tseng’s money and vehicle, then shot Tseng and fled to a waiting car with 3 additional suspects, two males and one female.   

Tseng was transported to a local hospital where he underwent emergency surgery, but died a short time later.

Detectives believe the motive for this incident was robbery.
