Los Angeles: A 33-year-old man died after he was shot while seated inside his SUV in a parking lot near 101st and Figueroa Street on September 21, 2009.
At around 11:30 p.m., an unknown assailant walked up to the driver’s side of David William Colone Jr. black Chevy Suburban. Colone tried to get out of his vehicle and the suspect fired several shots at him and took off, detectives said.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
The motive of the shooting is gang related and there is no suspect description.
