Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) first open house event at its new Rampart Division location.  Visuals include station tours, children’s games and meet-and-greet opportunities with LAPD personnel.

WHY:    
To extend an open invitation from the LAPD’s Rampart Division for everyone to attend the Division’s first annual open house at the new police station.  

Tours of the station will give the public opportunities to see what goes on "behind the scenes" at one of the newest LAPD stations.  There will also be free food, activities for children, and a raffle for bicycles and gifts.  Visitors are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to meet officers, recruiters, LAPD mentors and community support groups.

The open house is being cosponsored by the City of Los Angeles offices of Councilmember’s Eric Garcetti and Ed P. Reyes.
