Los Angeles: A man was killed by a Metrolink train when he laid down on the tracks yesterday afternoon in Northridge.
Detectives say the man laid down on his stomach in front of a west bound Metrolink train near Balboa and Roscoe Boulevards around 1:50 p.m. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. The crew and passengers were not injured.
The identity of the man is being withheld until a family member has been notified.
