Los Angeles: A hit and run driver struck and killed 20-year-old Eddie Deshawn Brown as he attempted to cross the street early Friday morning.
On July 15, 2011, at about 2:25 a.m., Eddie Brown was crossing the street southbound at Florence Avenue and Main Street when he was struck by a white or tan sports utility type vehicle that was traveling eastbound on Florence Avenue. After hitting Brown, the driver failed to stop to render aid and identify themselves as required by law.
Brown was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel where he died a short time later.
