Los Angeles: LAPD Devonshire detectives are asking the public help in providing information about a homicide that occurred in North Hills, leaving one man dead.
On July 23, 2011, Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 9000 Aqueduct Avenue. When the officers arrived, they saw a Hispanic man in the backyard suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was unresponsive. LAFD Rescue personnel responded and pronounced the man dead. There were no other victims inside the residence. Detectives searched the location and recovered evidence involved in the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
The victim’s name has not been released, as the next of kin have not been notified.
