Los Angeles: LAPD Devonshire Area Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect who shot and killed a store manager in Northridge.
On Friday, July 22, 2011, at about 4:03 p.m., police officers responded to a call of an “Ambulance Shooting” in the 8900 block of Tampa Avenue. Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced clinically dead on July 24, 2011. However, the victim remained on life support until July 26.
The victim was identified as 55-year-old Cristian Manzur. He was employed at a retail business as a manager. There is no information about the suspect. The weapon has not yet been recovered, and detectives have not determined what prompted the shooting.
