Los Angeles: The LAPD Commercial Crimes Division/Cargo-Hijack detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating or identifying a group of individuals responsible for a series of cargo thefts in the San Fernando Valley area.
Beginning in early July 2011, these suspect(s) have been responsible in at least nineteen thefts in which the truck/trailers have been stolen. The stolen vehicles contained various types of high dollar merchandise. The types of merchandise stolen varies from frozen food products, energy drinks, flour, cookies, electronics, clothing, women’s jeans, tires, mattresses, and cleaning products.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Commercial Crimes Division, Cargo Hijack Unit, Detectives Zavala or Hernandez at 213-485-2509.
