Missing person Mark Cortes was located yesterday by a family member who will
seek out further mental health care for his condition. No additional details were provided
as to where he was found or in what condition.
Los Angeles: The family of Mark Conrad Cortes and the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding Cortes.
On October 23, 2011, at about 5 p.m., Cortes was last seen at his board and care facility in the 13200 block of Branford Avenue, in the Mission Area of Los Angeles. He is autistic and his family is extremely concerned for his welfare.
Cortes is described as a male Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Cortes is asked to contact LAPD Missing Persons Unit Detective Carlton at 213-996-1800.
