Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Valley Traffic Division detectives are searching for witnesses who may have observed the collision involving 45-year-old Marvin Horner, a resident of Tujunga.
On November 21,2011, around 6:45 a.m., a traffic collision occurred on La Tuna Canyon south of the 210 Freeway in the city of Tujunga. A white Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck was travelling eastbound on La Tuna Canyon when it lost traction on the wet pavement and slid sideways into the westbound lanes. A red Scion was travelling westbound and broadsided the Toyota truck.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma was trapped inside of the pick-up truck and was pulled to safety by unidentified passerby’s.The driver sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. However, the driver of the Scion,45-year-old Marvin Horner of Tujunga, also sustained massive internal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
