Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department South Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating the motorist responsible for a horrific hit-and-run that killed 57-year-old Constance Parker of Los Angeles.
On December 12, 2011, at 10:30 p.m., a motorist in a silver, older model Nissan was traveling south on Western Avenue at 83rd Street, when he collided into Parker, who was in the roadway. The motorist failed to stop to render aid or to identify himself. The impact of the collision caused Parker to sustain life threatening injuries. LAFD rescue personnel responded and pronounced Parker dead at the scene.
The motorist was not identified, and witnesses were not able to obtain a license plate number of the hit-and-run vehicle. The motorist is outstanding.
